It creates a platform for confronting the local and international art scene and tries to initiate a greater interest of the general public in contemporary art and stimulate systematic and regular international cooperation. The purpose of the gallery was to initiate systematic international cooperation and exchange from the beginning, to support the export of EEU artists abroad. Over the past few years has built one of the most respected position within the framework of international art structures and many are considered to be one of the few subjects of active and systematic presentation of EEU art abroad. The gallery has been systematically fulfilling it's mission by publishing books and catalogues, attending art fairs and raising with represented artists as well as with international collectors and curators.
