DAVID KRŇANSKÝ
David Krňanský (*1987) is a Czech artist based in Prague, and a member of the group called Black Hole Generation, mostly known for their propensity to use tools of visual culture, ready-mades, and copies to create a critical commentary on the position of world. While he works with various media, Krnansky’s main artistic tool is painting in which he creates abstract pieces characterized by their joyful use of color and simultaneous limitations delineated by geometric boundaries.
OFFSITE PROJECTS
Founded in 2014. Tomas Umrian Contemporary operates in Bratislava and Paris and
regulary participates in mayor art fairs and institutional collaborations.
Umrian gallery is an contemporary art gallery founded in Bratislava in 2014. The gallery represents a multigeneration group of high-caliber Central and Eastern European artists and regulary participates in leading international artfairs while collaborating with institutions and private collections worldwide.
