Stano Masár (1971) is a Slovak post-conceptual artist. After graduating from the Faculty of Education of Comenius University in Bratislava, he continued his doctoral studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava (2009–2012). In 1994, he participated in a scholarship stay at Thames Valley University in London. He was a finalist for awards for young artists (Essl Award, Oskar Čepan Award). He regularly presents his works at domestic and international exhibitions.
OFFSITE PROJECTS
Founded in 2014. Tomas Umrian Contemporary operates in Bratislava and Paris and
regulary participates in mayor art fairs and institutional collaborations.
Umrian gallery is an contemporary art gallery founded in Bratislava in 2014. The gallery represents a multigeneration group of high-caliber Central and Eastern European artists and regulary participates in leading international artfairs while collaborating with institutions and private collections worldwide.
