PROGRAM FOR EMERGING ARTISTS

Program for emerging artists

Tomas Umrian Contemporary annually runs a program focused on supporting the youngest generation of artists from our region. The program selects artists from Central and Eastern Europe and prepares one or two group exhibitions each year in collaboration with prestigious institutions such as the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, AVU in Prague, and galleries in Budapest and Warsaw.

The program offers an opportunity to present the youngest generation of artists after completing their studies and helps them establish themselves on the art scene. It includes the preparation of a group exhibition, support for its realization, and the selection of artists by the curators of Tomas Umrian Contemporary and Tomas Umrian himself. This approach provides emerging artists with a platform to gain visibility and support for their further development.

Tomas Umrian Contemporary supports emerging artists by offering them a platform to present their work in an international context. Our program is designed to nurture and promote the next generation of artists from Central and Eastern Europe, providing them with opportunities to gain visibility, build their careers, and reach broader audiences. We focus on developing long-term relationships with these artists, providing mentorship, logistical support, and opportunities for their works to be seen by collectors, curators, and art professionals worldwide. Our goal is to help them grow and succeed in the ever-evolving art world, while remaining committed to the values of innovation, authenticity, and artistic expression.
